Congratulations to the Newtown Gold DofE team for completing their assessed Gold Duke of Edinburgh award expedition. They had a really challenging route from the Elan Valley to just short of Pumsaint, visiting all the trig points along the route. Dispite all the assents required they completed the four day expedition in good spirits.
The expedition had been delayed due to the pandemic and it was great that Newtown ESU continued to support the completion of their award after all the team turned 18 and became Network members.
