I pleased to announce that we have a new District Commissioner for Montgomeryshire Scouts, Hazel Groom. I’m very grateful to her for taking on the role and I’m sure you will give her a warm welcome and support her in taking on this role. Given the lack of volunteers we have in other area roles, I have agreed to take on the new role of Lead Volunteer for Montgomeryshire (which is the equivalent of the old Area Commissioner role) so will still be around to support Hazel in her new role and will primarily be focusing on making the incoming Scouts’ Transformation project work in our area.
