GWERSYLL Y BRYNIAUOur Area Campsite, Gwersyll y Bryniau (GYB), is nestled in the heart of the mid-Wales countryside, offering a peaceful and secluded setting for your next Scouting adventure. GYB is the perfect base for exploring the beauty and activities offered in mid-Wales. We have beaches a short drive away in Aberdyfi, Borth and Aberystwyth. There are local sailing, canoeing and kayaking facilities in Clywedog as well as hiking routes on the doorstep. The campsite features a large, open plan field which is great for large camps, pioneering projects and cooking on open fires. We also have a large area of woodland that can be accessed for firewood from fallen trees. There is a basic toilet block with shower facilities, along with fresh water standpipes in the camping field. It's an amazing location for getting back to basics and enjoying the great outdoors. The site is also near to the Mach Loop, so if you're really lucky you'll occasionally get to see some interesting aircraft passing overhead. We welcome bookings from members of Scouting, Guiding and other youth organisations. Please click here to download a brochure and click here to download a booking form.
