It was great to finally get the Young Leaders training programme up and running again for Montgomeryshire Explorers last weekend, after having to cancel last year's sessions twice due to getting Covid both times they were planned.
The Explorers responded fantastically to the programme material and I look forward to seeing how they get on with the award. I will look at setting up a Zoom call for leaders who are helping the Explorers to complete the award in their sections.
I will look at February being the annual month for the Young Leader training weekends as it seems the best time for the Explorers, avoiding exams and other academic key dates.
