Firstly I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year / Blwyddyn Newydd Dda.
As you are already aware I am in the process of stepping down as Area Commissioner, we’re hoping to have someone in post shortly, after which I will just continue with being the District Commissioner (and with my Explorer and Scout Leader roles). Neil Grant has decided to step down as Area Training Manager, I would like to thank him for the effort he has put into this role as his input has moved the area forward significantly over the last few years. He has however agreed to take on the role of District Explorer Scout Commissioner and to be our Area Duke of Edinburgh Award Advisor – both of which we’ve been in need of for a while now. Tom Majski has also stepped down as District Scout Network Commissioner.
If you do have any interest in taking on the Area Training Manager role, any other Area/District role or would like to run an area event please get in touch to discuss informally.
Finally, Scouts Cymru would be very grateful if you could take a few moments to complete their survey:
